Integrated Psych is adding a new Medical Assistant to our team.

Duties include:

• Taking patient medical histories.

• Preparing patients for examination by taking patient vitals.

• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.

• Performing basic laboratory tests.

• Instructing patients about medications.

• Logging and tracking drug medication samples and cabinets kept locked and secure.

• Preparing and administering medications as directed by a provider.

• Transmitting prescription refills as directed.

• Drawing blood.

• Taking electrocardiograms.

• Answering telephones.

• Greeting patients.

• Updating and filing patient medical records.

• Scheduling appointments.

• Arranging for laboratory services.

• Handling correspondence.

• Using computer programs that include EHR.

• Maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
